As well as the Polar Bears there were plenty of birds to point our cameras at during our Svalbard expedition. Brunnich's Guillemots were numerous especially close to land. Unfortunately our slot at the famous Alkefjellet bird cliffs coincided with the worst weather of the trip, driving rain and high winds which meant we couldn't get into the zodiacs for a close encounter with the birds. A couple of sail pasts and bids in flight were all we managed but it does mean we will have to go back and do it properly next time!
