LATEST IMAGES - BEMPTON6

Our last couple of trips to Bempton have been relatively late in the season when most of the auks have already left so it was nice to see them and try and photograph them. While it is relatively easy to photograph the Gannets as they are big and fly very close, the auks are a different matter. They rarely come up to cliff top height so you are always looking down on them and they fly much faster and just as we seemed to get them in focus, they would disappear below the cliff edge, so we got lots of out of focus grass shots!
