Watching Penguins in tropical waters was certainly odd during our trip to the Galapagos. Much of the water is relatively cold and the Penguins have adapted to live in these fish rich waters. Most of these images of the Galapagos Penguins resting on the lava were taken from a zodiac but the Penguins really come alive underwater and during snorkeling we were privileged to have them shooting past us on a number of occasions after fish. Unfortunately my snorkeling and underwater photography skills were not up to capturing a showable underwater image.
