Many of the Galapagos Islands have Land Iguanas on them in a variety of colours. They are sometimes difficult to see as they blend in so well with the landscape, well that's my excuse having walked past any number very close to the paths! We were all surprised and delighted to see a large Land Iguana on the walk-way from the runway to the terminal when we landed, a taste of what was to come.
