Our final stay before returning to Cairns for our long flight back to the UK was at Chambers Wildlife Lodge near Yungaburra. This was an ideal location to visit the southern parts of the Atherton Tablelands and to view the night time animals. They attracted these with honey smeared onto trees at a remarkably short distance from the viewing platform. For us the star of the show was undoubtedly the Striped Possum.
