The many Great Skuas or Bonxies were less aggressive than the Arctic Skuas on St Kilda during our recent stay. They would fly towards you if you were too close to their chicks but  the adults would pull out of their attack a good few yards away while the Arctic Skuas were definitely out to hit you. St Kilda boasts the largest concentration of nesting Atlantic Puffins in the world but they are surprisingly difficult to see especially from land as they mainly nest on the inaccessible Dun. There were a few on the edge of the cliffs when we arrived at the Cambir for our camping evening but had largely gone in the morning, presumably out to sea to feed.
