Our final Lodge in Ecuador was San Isidro further east on the Andean slope at around 7,000 feet. The main attraction here was the balcony where again birds were attracted in to moths. At night we spent some time trying to photograph the Black-banded Owl around the grounds. At San Isidro we encountered a good deal of rain which didn't help the photography and the expected White-bellied Antpitta had, we think, gone on holiday!
