The Macaques were not the only wildlife we managed to photograph during our recent trip to Sulawesi in Indonesia. We were especially fortunate to get good views of a rare marsupial, the Bear Cuscus, as they traversed through the trees. The Spectral Tarsier is another rare and unusual creature that is difficult to see. Thankfully there was a well known tree that 3 or 4 of them used to sleep in during the day and they would come out to hunt at dusk. They were well used to having torches shone on them for photography which was good as flash wasn't allowed. They are tiny animals which had incredibly long tails for the size of their body. We also spent time photographing the Kingfishers and Sulawesi Scops Owl which occurred in the forest.
