Puffins must be one of the most charismatic and photogenic birds in the UK and even though we have many shots of them, it is always a pleasure to try and capture some more, especially in flight. Crab Bay was the best place for flight images on Skokholm and we were lucky to be blessed with good weather and two evenings with lots of Puffins coming and going. The wind was coming directly into Crab Bay which meant the Puffins were far too fast, for us at least, on their way in to land. Fortunately some of them turned into the wind to land which slowed them up enough for us to photograph them just before they hit the ground.
