The Swans at Abbotsbury Swannery are extremely tame and many nest right on the path through the centre. Early May is a fantastic time to visit as the cygnets are hatching. We visited when the first few nests had cygnets. A Cygnet on the back of a swan is difficult to beat for that Ahhh factor.
