Roe Deer have, in the past few years, become more common in our part of the Forest. We are not sure if they are more numerous or are just visiting our area of the Forest more often as there are a couple of long term road closures and the Forest is so much quieter. In general Roe Deer seem more tolerant than Fallow and the Buck below came within 20 yards of me when I was sat down even though he knew I was there.
