Cetti's Warblers were very common along the main track at Shapwick Heath and Ham Wall, they are usually identified by their distinctive and loud call. Occasionally they were reasonably out  in the open, especially along the track at Shapwick Heath where the vegetation hadn't fully grown back from a winter cut. With a bit of perseverance and a lot of walking up and down the track, we did get a few images but unfortunately none of them singing. We only saw a couple of Whitethroats but Blackcaps were all over both reserves. The easiest to photograph was by the car park where the male had obviously become used to all the comings and goings.
