CHOBE
Most of the other tourists we came across were after big cats and seemed to target these at the expense of all the fantastic birds. We did have two encounters with Lions during our time near the Chobe River, the first being when a pride was on the move when we were travelling to our camp on the first evening, the other quite late in the evening when the light was poor and most of the Lions were sleeping.
