KHWAI

Here are a few more images from our time in Khwai Botswana. The Juvenile Bateleur kept us entertained whilst we were waiting for the Leopard to wake up. Apparently, they are named after the French for tightrope walker due to the way they tilt their wings in flight. The Black Crake is a very elusive bird so we were pleased to spot this one from the 'Bridge on the River Khwai'-  yes really!
