While photographing the Chough in Mewslade on the Gower a Kestrel  flew down the valley and hovered almost directly above me. Thankfully the sun was out making for much nicer images especially with the light shining through its spread tail. As an added bonus a Sparrowhawk also flew down the valley out to sea and then headed straight back up to its more normal habitat. The Kestrel was a regular inhabitant of the valley but we never saw the Sparrowhawk again.
