There was one Fulmar nest with a chick that was very accessible for photography and almost at cliff top height which was ideal. They stood out against the red sandstone so typical of Skokholm. There was one chance encounter with a Peregrine which was perched on a lovely lichen covered rock overlooking the sea but as soon as it saw us it was away. The eye focus tracking on the R5 and the lightness of the 800 F11 lens helped us capture a nice sequence as it flew away. It is a real treat when you have a great subject in ideal light and the images look as good on the computer as you thought they did when you took them. Unfortunately it is a rare occurrence!
