We also visited Musselburgh Lagoons, just East of Edinburgh, which is a relatively new reserve and is well worth a visit. Off the coast we saw Red Throated Divers and along the sea wall a small flock of Twite. We need to go back to this area when the weather is kinder although the stormy weather did mean we had a fantastic sunset one evening at Aberlady Bay.
