At each Lodge we visited there were a different selection of Hummingbirds, depending on the altitude and if the Lodges were on the East or West slopes of the Andes. Some of the feeders at the Lodges were better than others especially regarding the backgrounds. At some it was very difficult to find a clear background especially when six of us were all trying to get into the same position, although with a bit of patience and wide elbows all the Lodges produced great opportunities.
