Every day on our photographic boat in the Danube Delta we came across large numbers of White Pelicans both in small groups and large numbers feeding together. The feeding activity I found very difficult to do justice to with stills but it was great to watch. The Pelicans amassed in large numbers very close together and just put their heads under the water and grabbed the fish, no diving like Brown Pelicans. There were also small numbers of Dalmatian Pelicans in the Delta.
