LATEST IMAGES - PAPUA NEW GUINEA7
During our cruising up and down the river trying to find birds to photograph, we did come across a couple of photographable Great Billed Herons. These are supposedly the second largest Heron and quite wary of humans. The second one we came across was being repeatedly mobbed by a group of swallows and seemed oblivious of our great big boat getting quite close to it. Having not had much else to photograph that day we took far too many mages of it.
