Proboscis Monkeys are endemic to Borneo and easy to see as you motor along the Sekonyer River between the Orangutan feeding sites. The Monkeys are more difficult to photograph well as there always seems to be a branch in front of them. Fortunately we came across  a small group in almost perfect late evening light that were out in the open. All we had to do was remember how long their tails were. We also saw a few Storm's Storks, an endangered bird, that is suffering with habitat destruction mainly because of our seemingly insasable appetite for Palm Oil. There were also a number of Long Tailed Macaques that were used to humans and were very approachable on the many board walks and docks.
