RSPB Ham Wall Reserve on the Somerset Levels is a great place to visit at any time of the year. Their is a large car park, refreshments and most importantly of all clean toilets and lots of birds of course! The Avalon hide is great for photography with the light in the right direction for most of the day and large windows to point your camera out of. Great Egrets are becoming quite common but they are still a joy to behold, who would have thought they become so numerous.
